SOUTHERN TRACTORS

Southern Tractors Ltd is managed and run on a daily basis by sole director Richard Wardhaugh and his loyal and experienced team.

Richard has been working in agricultural engineering over forty years since he left school and began his apprenticeship at Thomas Corrie Tractors, Dumfries in July 1974. He has built up an invaluable wealth of knowledge and experience in all aspects of agricultural engineering. He completed his apprenticeship after four years and remained with Corrie Tractors as an engineer for ten years working on Leyland and Same tractors and anything else that came through the door. 

His next venture in 1984 was as a self-employed mobile agricultural engineer working on the local farms.

The current two acre site of Southern Tractors was opened in 1995 which includes a purpose built workshop and large yard with all the facilities required in a modern agricultural engineering business.

The staff are knowledgeable on a wide range of agricultural machinery and tractors and regularly attend additional training to maintain knowledge and skills.

Southern tractors has been the main Landini dealers in South West Scotland since 1996 and can supply all Landini sales, service and parts required. We also supply and fit new Landini, Quicke and Sigma loaders for any make of tractor.

Southern Tractors also buy and sell used tractors and machinery of all makes and ages.
